I've been given free reign to design a personal item from the 3D printer, so I've made a bust for my friend's birthday.

Eye of Mordor Solidworks Model

I was given the opportunity to prove my competence in Solid Works using a custom piece no larger than 14mm. The assignment called for something at least as complicated as an etched cube. 

Animation Example

I attempted to show the progress of technology in several aspects of life through time in the form of  a gif. I made this my drawing 103 frames into photoshop using the wacom tablet (the things awesome by the way). There was no appropriated imagery. I think that my piece conveys a light-hearted mood as it portrays progress. Visually the gif has a cartoon style and little fun points here and there that keep it from becoming too serious.
